Contact Lenses

Do you prefer contact lenses to glasses? At Pioneer Vision Care, we can help you with choosing your next set of contact lenses. Whether it’s your first time trying contact lenses or you’re a pro at knowing how to put them in correctly, we aim to meet your needs each step of the way.

If you have worn contact lenses before, you can prepare for your visit by bringing your past contact lens prescription or old box in with you to your appointment. This way, Dr. Fell can see your previous brand, power, and base curve your eyes were used to.

Before you can get your new lenses, you’ll need an exam first. During your exam, Dr. Fell will evaluate the front curve of your eye through Corneal topography. Don’t worry, this isn’t uncomfortable at all, but it will help him determine which contact lens to prescribe. It will also alert him to any corneal disorders such as keratoconus.

After your exam, you’ll learn which type of contact lenses will work best for you according to your occupational needs, daily routine, and weekend activities. With a diverse selection of contact lenses, we’re sure you’ll find what you need at Pioneer Vision Care. We feature the following types of contact lenses:

  • Gas permeable: single vision or multifocal
  • Soft disposable: monthly, 2-week, or dailies
  • Soft toric: for correcting astigmatism
  • Soft multifocal: for patients needing near and distance correction
  • Colored: for those wanting a little variety; samples are available to try
  • Specialty: especially for patients suffering from chronic dry eyes or allergies

See why our patients feel like family and let us help you see the world in a whole new way. Our contact lenses department is ready to help you gain newfound confidence and freedom as you move from glasses to contacts or update your old prescription.
